ETC ComputerLand

For more than 18 years, ETC ComputerLand has been providing solutions to the area’s networking, server maintenance, security, hardware, software, and computer repair needs. ETC ComputerLand was originally ETC Computer Solutions in 1997. Eric Thomas, founder and president, began the business as a part-time venture. Thomas saw many new opportunities in the world of computers and technology as the company began to grow. In 2000, Thomas dedicated himself to the operation full time.
ETC moved into the Western Catholic Union building in Quincy, Illinois in 2003 as the team began to grow along with the business. One year later more expansion was necessary, and the team moved to the Pear Tree Villa building on South Eighth Street. ETC purchased ComputerLand of Quincy in February of 2007 and moved to a location on Kochs Lane. The staff seemingly doubled overnight and momentum began to build as our specialists demonstrated excellence in comprehensive IT solutions.
In 2014, the theme of growth continued with the creation of Vervocity Interactive and the purchase of Media Development. Vervocity Interactive team members build custom websites, offer design expertise, design CMS, build custom programming applications, develop mobile apps, provide eMarketing solutions, and much more. Media Development is a full service agency that provides marketing strategy, graphic design, television/video production, public relations, media planning & placement, professional/corporate photography, online advertising, social marketing, product packaging, and more.
The ETC family now has over 40 employees who embrace new opportunities and continue their commitment to excellence through systemization and education.
