First American Corporation has set up First American (India) Private Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary of its group entity First American Holdings (Mauritius) Limited. The plan was set up operations in India in order to carry on the business of back office / process and knowledge outsourcing services & software services.

The India strategy was to form FAI to fulfill the business plan for Back office & Software support services pertaining to the Financial Services Business at Bangalore & Hyderabad . FAI works with over two lakhs square feet under lease with Ascendas Group in Bangalore & Hyderabad. FAI has a headcount over 3500 FTE working 24/6 hours of operations. FAI services diverse verticals in its BPO business segment from transaction processing, Title search, Claims, Title default services, Internal Audit for US offices, Finance & Accounting support across US, UK & Canada.
FAI also provides various Software Services ranging from development, maintenance to network management & remote desktop maintenance.
