Indus Systems was founded to support organizations in a variety of industries to implement documents and asset management systems using Computer Aided Design technologies. From 1987 to 2000 Indus was primarily a service company providing electronic documentation services to corporate facilities groups and manufacturing companies. Following our early success and customer demands for more automation, Indus Systems refocused its efforts to become the preeminent provider of innovative solutions based on a new class of software to address the second largest expenses for public and private enterprises which are the costs relating to management of facilities infrastructure. Indus pioneered the way in offering Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) mode where the clients can, without maintaining the hardware and associated costs, take advantage of the software owned and operated by the software provider.
