About Us The Invensys Development Centre(IDC) India Pvt. Ltd. was set up in April 2002, in Hyderabad, India to cater to the software development, quality assurance and support of the various Invensys products. The main objectives of IDC are to retain the Intellectual Property within the company and to augment the current development and support groups in the US. The IDC is the only centre in the world where Invensys has employees working for Global Solutions Development (SimSci-Esscor, Avantis and others), Foxboro and Wonderware in one place. The Hyderabad development center is located at the Vanenburg IT Park at Madhapur, Hyderabad. Invensys also has a development centre in Mumbai at Velocity, Logitech Park, Andheri (E), Mumbai. This centre has around 20 plus engineers supporting the Global Solutions Development Group. The IDC has also set up a lab for testing Wonderware and Foxboro products. The centre is growing rapidly and figures prominently in Invensys overall strategy. The engineers at IDC get an opportunity to blend their software development and testing skills with domain skills. Thus, engineers can work on development and testing of Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Similarly, for Chemical Engineers who would like to combine their engineering background with software development and testing experience, Invensys offers very good opportunities to work on steady state and dynamic simulation of chemical plants, petrochemical plants and refineries.
