iPRIMED which stands for “Industry primed i.e. Ready to Goâ€ï† is focused on bridging the employability gap between the academia and the industry. Students get to learn from professionals who have groomed and built teams ranging from 200 to 1500 people. Most of iPRIMED facilitators are full time employees of the company which is supplemented by visiting facilitators who are still in the industry.. Most of these customers are natives of their countries and address the students on various aspects of the business & technology over video conferences and visit iPRIMED premises when they are in India. The company boasts of an innovative curriculum where students go through an intensive intrinsic transformation leveraging the principles of “young adultâ€ï† learning in an experiential manner. Two distinct kind of skills i.e. the direct skills (like technology, process knowledge, industry knowledge) is blended in a seamless manner with the core skills (what is generally called soft skills) and delivered in an experiential mode. The focus is on identifying an aspirants strengths rather than worrying about their weaknesses and limitations and aligning them to what suits their strengths best. The course duration lasts from 8 weeks to 26 weeks based on the degree and amount of intervention required on the different skill buckets. The iPRIMED assessment methodology provides a good handle on the skill needs of the aspirants which helps them customize the curriculum and the duration of delivery - more intervention on core skills implies longer duration and smaller class size and vice versa.
