In 1984, Andrew L. Libo and Edward H. Gersowitz founded Gersowitz & Libo, P.C. after successful careers working with the legendary F. Lee Bailey and Aaron J. Broder. Jeff S. Korek left a Wall Street defense firm to join the firm as a named partner in 1992.
We founded the firm over 25 years ago based upon the goal of offering the best legal services to people suffering from the negligence of others Libo said of founding the firm with Gersowitz: “I am so proud that after all of these years our values have not changed as we continue to represent those who need it most”
Our success stems from the excellent, passionate lawyers that make up the GLK family. Michael Fruhling joined our team in 1991, and became a partner in 1999. Associate Nicolas Bagley joined the firm in 2010.
As our reputation grew over the years, so did our need for space. The firm’s first office location was at 333 Seventh Avenue in New York. In 1989, GLK moved to 56 Thomas Street until 1991 when we relocated to 299 Broadway, suite 702. Finally, in 1995, we settled in our current home in Downtown Manhattan at the Trinity Building location at 111 Broadway, 12th floor.We eventually took over the annex on the other side of the 12th floor to accommodate our growth.
