Mycroft AI, Inc. is building the world's first open source natural language platform. The company's initial product, a cute wireless speaker, has been designed to encourage hackers, developers and makers to contribute to its open source platform. Mycroft is more than a device. It is a platform. Mycroft is the open source community's answer to Siri and Echo.
The company was founded in 2015 by Joshua Montgomery, Kristie Adair and Ryan Sipes. The team ran the most successful Kickstarter ever to come out of Kansas and became the first Kansas company to join the prestigious Techstars accelerator.
