NAPLTech (IT subsidiary of Nava Bharat Agro Products Ltd)

NAPLTech is an incubated division within Navabharat Agro Products Limited and operates independently - very similar to how an early stage PE investment works. NAPL (Nava Bharat Agro Products Ltd) is a leading Palm Oil manufacturer located in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. It has a captive palm oil hinterland of over 30,000 acres with 8,000 farmers directly dependant on it. It is a professionally managed private company known in the industry for its many innovations and management practices. NAPLTech will be a futuristic, state-of-the-art company with a unique, refreshingly different approach to anything and everything - something which has been brewing for over 20 years. It will take advantage of the present turmoil in the IT and BPO industry and through a strategic mix of BUILD and/or BUY, rapidly grow into a 1,000 employee company by the end of 2016 and a 1,000 Cr company by 2020. The initial focus areas are: 1) Custom Software / Products Development - Cross device application development on the Azure/Office 365 platform delivered as a SaaS. 2) BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) with a focus on CRM on the Microsoft Dynamics Platform - Unified Communication across all channels so as to get a 360 degree view of the relationship. This is a cloud based delivery model. It will move into other areas in the IT / ITES as it builds traction. The target customer is the medium to small business segment because it strongly believes in Professor CK Prahalad's concept that there is a "Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid". This is a segment which most companies find too painful and/or uneconomical to service and hence ignore. NAPLTech is a new company so it can & will design all its processes keeping this segment in mind and create a company which can efficiently & profitably deliver products & services to this "Bottom of the Business Pyramid".
