About PDI
Since 1983, Professional Datasolutions, Inc. (PDI) has been dedicated to delivering innovative software and service solutions to the convenience store retailer and wholesale petroleum marketer.
In 1986, PDI teamed with 21 companies in a joint effort to create an enterprise-level system for the convenience store industry. PDI's flexible software architecture created a new era of openness by allowing companies to integrate their home-office pricebook to a variety of point-of-sale (POS) devices. Over the years, this "POS independence" has facilitated numerous success stories as PDI customers have been able to create a one store operating system regardless of the POS systems employed.
