In 1998, the windows version of Quick-MD (formerly Quick-Med) was first released to the public. It was, and still is, one of the first stable "true Windows based" Practice Management Software solutions available. Quick-MD is the birth child of over 15 years experience developing Medical Practice Management systems. This experience ultimately led to the realization that there was a better way. After years of intense independent development, Quick-MD was presented to the public and has been in a state of constant growth and development ever since.
Quick-MD is constantly refined and updated based on feedback from our customers, the people who really know what a Medical Practice Management solution should and should not do. Since 1998, about 80% of the refinements made in Quick-MD have been the direct result of customer recommendations resulting in the most efficient Practice Management System on the market today!
During our initial years Family Practices, Dermatologists, Orthopedics and Neurologists adopted our system. By word of mouth alone, the next 18 months saw the adoption of Quick-MD by nearly every specialty across the medical field. This breadth of customers and their feedback is what has made Quick-MD the feature rich medical billing software system that it is today.
