Red Robin Masonry was founded in 2009 by two high school friends, Dave Bissinger and Mike Etchells, who combined their unique backgrounds to create a company rooted in quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. Dave brought a business degree and an entrepreneurial mindset, while Mike had hands-on masonry experience from working alongside his father. Together, they set out to build a company that homeowners and builders could trust for top-quality masonry work.
The company’s first hire, John Ambrose, started as a summer worker while attending university. After graduating, he joined full-time as an estimator, using both his extensive on-site experience and deep understanding of masonry to provide accurate assessments and expert recommendations. His dedication and expertise led him to become an equal partner, helping guide Red Robin Masonry into the well-respected company it is today.
Since its early days, Red Robin Masonry has grown into a trusted name in the industry, serving homeowners, contractors, and property managers across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
