Stewart Law Group

The Stewart Law Group is lead by Attorney L. Marcel Stewart, who has significant trial and litigation experience at very high levels. Early in his career, he worked on the largest civil lawsuit of the time, known as the “Tobacco Litigation.” Then, he was part of a team of civil trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice, who sued the tobacco industry for civil RICO conspiracy. He subsequently served as a former federal prosecutor for the Southern District of California in San Diego before entering private practice. During his nearly two decades of law practice, Attorney Stewart has won many state and federal jury trials and has obtained favorable settlements. For some clients, he received large monetary awards and for others, he has restored their freedom. Attorney Stewart uses his extensive experience to help develop thoughtful and aggressive case strategies for Stewart Law Group clients.
