ThinHost® Ltd is a privately owned company with data centres located in the UK that pioneered Hosted Virtual Desktop as a secure way for businesses of all sizes to migrate to the cloud. Since the business was founded in 2005, we have invested significantly in our hosted infrastructure to make it simple for companies to make the transition to the cloud. We already host a wide range of different software applications - from Microsoft Office and Sage to bespoke industry applications. All data and applications are securely stored in our Tier 3 data centres.
As part of the Connect group, which is ISO27001 accredited, we have designed a highly resilient, virtualised infrastructure to ensure that our clients' IT keeps working 24/7. Gartner estimates that cloud computing will grow at more than 50% over the next 12 months as businesses assess the benefits of switching from on-premise servers.
