The Early Years – Beginning of Medical IT Services in Phoenix
Over a decade ago, two local Phoenix engineers saw a need in the medical industry for a more tailored approach to their IT needs. With their extensive backgrounds in the IT field, both men took a chance and left their budding careers to start up this new endeavor, offering IT services in Phoenix. In 2004, Xlcon was launched as a medical IT company, addressing the specific IT needs of healthcare providers, and was immediately greeted with an overwhelmingly positive response. With an early partnership with the locally-based Arizona State Physician’s Association (ASPA) as well as partnerships with international powerhouses such as Microsoft, Cisco, and HP, Xlcon continued to grow and expand their offerings of IT Services in Phoenix.

Today, Xlcon’s main office is located in beautiful downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Although Xlcon has enjoyed continuous growth, the company has stayed true to its roots of providing personalized support and solutions to the local medical field.Their team of highly qualified engineers has helped countless clients with not only IT support, but also the implementation and maintenance of their EHR and PM systems as well as ensuring that they maintain their HIPAA compliance from an IT standpoint.
In 2013, Xlcon acquired the Phoenix branch of Atlanta-based IT and EHR support service company, MD Tech Pro in an effort to continue their strategy of delivering the highest level of IT services in Phoenix, while addressing the growing complexities and capabilities of electronic health records systems within medical practices. This acquisition enable Xlcon to capitalize on the best practices and procedures of MD Tech Pro, merge them into the strong and effective infrastructure established at Xlcon and succesfully build the largest healthcare-focused managed IT services in Phoenix, and the state of Arizona.
The team at Xlcon has worked tirelessly to build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with both their clients and their community.
